Chapman & Co is a leading South African firm of specialist corporate, commercial and business transaction attorneys. Included in these services are services relating to tax, trade marks (and other intellectual property law) and a variety of other allied and related fields.

The firm was founded in 1995 by Anthony Chapman who holds the qualifications BSc (Chem) (Natal); LLB (Natal); H dip Tax Law (Wits); H dip Co Law (Wits); FCILS (Austria) and who is the South African member of AEA Lawyers International, the largest association of lawyers in the world. Anthony has practiced law for some 25 years, is skilled in most areas of corporate, commercial and business transaction law and has been involved in many significant legal transactions over the years .

It was Anthony’s ambition to establish a specialist firm dedicated to serving its clients needs in a highly efficient, cost effective and personalised manner - and at the highest levels of expertise. We continually meet these high criteria as we service our many clients, which range from local entrepreneurs to some of the largest multinationals in the world, in a variety of result driven and innovative transactions.

Whilst our head office is located in Johannesburg/Sandton, South Africa, we nonetheless have associated offices in all other major South Africa centres as well as 1641 centres in 176 other countries worldwide. We are thus well equipped to assist you locally, nationally and internationally.
